The Sentinel-News reported on some of the happenings at and after a public forum, hosted by Magistrate Jim Robertson, on a proposed zoning ordinance and subdivision regulation that would empower the Shelby County Fiscal Court, the Shelbyville City Council, the Simpsonville City Commission, and the Triple S Planning Commission to consider whether or not Shelby County's Public School system would have capacities to handle the new students from proposed zone changes. If the subdivision regulations of Shelby County also were amended to include this change, then the Triple S Planning Commission could take the same consideration into account when development plans were presented to them.
